Terms and Conditions

By placing your items with Simply Laundry, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

Minimum Order Size
Minimum order amount for dry clean is $20. Minimum order for Wash and Fold is 13lbs. If minimum level is not reached, Simply Laundry will apply a charge for the minimum order amount. One exception that is if you place an order for both services (Dry Clean and Wash+Fold) then only the minimum for Wash and Fold applies.

Placed orders not dropped off
Placed orders not available for driver pick-up within the chosen time-slot will incur a $10 ‘placed but unavailable’ charge added to the respective user account. To avoid this charge, kindly ensure that placed orders are made available for driver pick-up in the selected time-slot. 

Damaged Property
Simply Laundry exercises the utmost care in cleaning and processing garments entrusted to us and use such processes, which in our opinion are best suited to the nature and conditions of each individual garment. Nevertheless, we cannot assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses or defects in materials which may result in tears or development of small holes in fabric that are not readily apparent prior to processing. We cannot guarantee against color loss, color bleeding, and shrinkage; or against damage to weak and tender fabrics; or against damage to ancillary items such as belts, buttons, beads, ties or zipper pulls. Simply Laundry’s liability with respect to any damaged items shall not exceed ten times our charge for cleaning the respective garment regardless of brand/condition. Any damaged items must be reported and returned to Simply Laundry for inspection within 5 business days.

Lost Items
Any lost items must be reported within 5 business days. Simply Laundry makes its best reasonable effort to track every item that we process and will review all lost items claims on a case-by-case basis. For any items that are determined to be lost by Simply Laundry, customers will be reimbursed in accordance with the International Fabricare Fair Claims Guide and shall not exceed ten times our charge for cleaning the respective garment regardless of brand/condition, or a collective sum of a maximum of $500. 

Loose Items
Simply Laundry strives hard to check items accidentally left in the garments given for laundry/Dry Cleaning. However, it is not responsible for loose items such as jewelry, watches, cash, detachable buttons, cuff-links, belts, brooches, strings, laces, hoods or loose items on garments, etc. We request customers to ensure that they check such items and remove them from the pockets of their garments before giving them for servicing. Simply Laundry is in no way responsible for damages caused to the garments due to presence of any aforementioned items in their pockets.

Personal Property
Any personal property placed in a Simply Laundry bag that appears to have value will be removed by Simply Laundry and stored for 30 days. The respective customer will be informed regarding it. If items are unclaimed after 30 days, all property will be donated to local registered charity. Simply Laundry does not accept liability for any personal laundry bags that are not Simply Laundry branded bags.

Maximum Storage
Simply Laundry can hold your clothes for a maximum of one week. If the period extends beyond that, then Simply Laundry can charge the customer storage fees of $5 per day.

Quotations and Order Pricing Calculation
All prices are listed on the Simply Laundry's website. For any additional item prices, please contact info@simply-laundry.com
For quotations after an order has been picked up, please send us a request in writing to info@simply-laundry.com. We can provide a quote if the plant hasnt yet started on the order. Please request a quote while placing your order by placing that information in the "Special instructions" box. In case of any order cancellation after a pickup has occurred, a $50 charge will be applied per service.

Late Payment Fees
Payments for all order are due before delivery. Simply Laundry will charge the customer before delivering the order. If payment isnt received or we cant charge the credit card of the customer, then a late payment charge of 5% (compounded daily) will be applied to the outstanding balance till a payment has been finalized. The late payment fee is calculated from the delivery date set till the date of settlement date. Also please refer to Store fees section.

Non-Payment
If payment hasn't been received and customer refuses to pay the outstanding amount, then the account is sent to our collection agency to retrieve the outstanding balance. No clothes will be released till the outstanding bill has been settled. If customer refuses to settle the outstanding invoice, Simply Laundry has the authorization to salvage their cost by selling the used clothing to any provider of their choice.

Turnaround Time
Service days and turnaround time vary by location. Simply Laundry will make its best reasonable effort to return clothes within 48 to 72 hours of drop-off. However, we do not guarantee turnaround times and assume no responsibility for any damages that may occur due to a delay in service. Our shoe service takes 3 - 5 days in most cases.

Pricing
All prices in CAD. In any discrepancy between printed and online pricing, the online posted pricing will be applied. 

Repairs & Alterations
All repairs and/or alterations to clothing requested by clients valued at $30 or less, after discounts and before taxes will be performed without secondary authorization. For repairs and/or alterations above this value, an email will be sent to the account holder and services will not be performed prior to receipt of his/her written approval.

Discounts, Special Pricing & Coupons
Discounts, special pricing and coupons cannot be combined. Only one will be applied per order unless specifically stated in writing by Simply Laundry. If two are available and not combined, the greater percentage discount listed of the two will be applied to the order. No discounts will apply to hotel customers. 

Referral Codes
Each account holder is given a referral code (in format CRXXXXX). Referral codes are to be used to refer new clients to the service and to provide a discount to the referred person.  Referral codes are not for use by the referring in their own account e.g. self-use. If an account is found to have used a code in this manner, Simply Laundry will have the right to charge to the account a fee in the same amount as the discount received.

Order Cancellation

In the case of client cancelling an order(s) after it has been picked up and before the service has started; a service fee of $50 will incur as a "Cancellation Charge" per order type (i.e. Dry Clean, Wash & Fold). No cancellation is permitted if cleaning service has been initiated for the order(s).

"*" Any discounts or offers on first order
For any order that is considered a bulk order or is higher than $200 in value, any offers or discounts wouldn't be applicable to the respective order especially if a price has been negotiated for a bulk order.
